When does the JVEG apply to interpreting and translation services?
The JVEG governs remuneration when interpreters or translators are engaged by courts, public prosecutors’ offices or other bodies specified in the Act. The same billing arrangements do not automatically apply to private or business assignments; for these, we prepare a separate quotation based on the assignment, language and duration.
The law distinguishes between fees, travel costs, compensation for time and other necessary expenses. Which basis applies depends on who commissions the service and how the assignment is arranged.

Which language combinations do you offer?
Language combinations are reviewed for each appointment. Saiga Abbasova’s qualification provides specific evidence for Azerbaijani; Parviz Abbasov personally speaks Azerbaijani, Turkish, Russian, German and Norwegian. Other languages are checked for availability and subject-area suitability before any commitment is made.
How is an interpreting assignment for a public authority or court priced?
Billing depends on the client, type of appointment, duration, location, language combination and applicable legal requirements. We review each case in advance and explain which basis applies.
