Frequently asked questions

  • What is a certified translation?

A certified translation is prepared by an authorised translator and bears a certification statement, stamp and signature. Whether it is required and accepted in a particular case is determined by the receiving authority, court, notary or other requesting body.

  • Which languages can be requested?

Tell us the source language, target language and intended use. We then check whether the desired language combination can be covered personally or via the specialist network.

  • How do I get a quote for my document?

Send us the key details about the document, language combination and intended use. Once we have reviewed the actual documents, we will reply personally with an assessment of the price and turnaround time.

  • Why doesn't the website give fixed prices?

Price and processing time depend on language, scope, document type, certification and intended use. That's why we first look at your request and then send you a concrete offer.

  • Do I need an apostille for my translation?

An apostille confirms the authenticity of a public document for use abroad. Whether it is needed before or after the translation depends on the destination country and the receiving agency. It is best to ask the office in advance - we will then help you to correctly classify the document and the translation method.

  • Can I have a power of attorney translated and certified?

Yes, powers of attorney are among the most common requests. What is important is the intended use, target country or authority, language direction and the question of whether a signature, notarial certification or apostille is required.

  • Is a photo of my document sufficient for the request?

For the first check, a sharp, fully visible photo or PDF is usually sufficient. We will then tell you whether the original is also required for execution or certification.

  • Do you also interpret for authorities, courts, notaries or doctors?

Such appointments can be requested. Please state the location, date, time, duration, language and reason. We will then check availability and requirements and tell you on what basis the billing will be based.

  • Can I also make a request if my language is not on the list?

Yes. The website lists the documented service languages and remains expressly open to other language combinations. The decisive factors are the document, source and target language, subject area and intended use.

Which service is right for your request?
