When does the JVEG apply to interpreting and translation services?
The JVEG regulates the remuneration when interpreters or translators are used by courts, public prosecutors or other bodies mentioned in the law. The same billing method does not automatically apply to private or corporate orders; ABBA-Sprachendienste creates an individual offer based on application, language, duration and general conditions.
The law differentiates between fees, travel costs, expenses and other necessary expenses. Which basis actually applies depends on who places the order and how the service is used.

For court, authority and notary appointments, the language, type of appointment and existing documents help with planning operations.
